Wheel Throwing & Hand Building, Level 3 - 6 Week Class: 06/23/2026 to 07/28/2026

$400.00
sold out

In this 6-week class students will explore both wheel throwing and hand-building techniques. This class is intended for those with experience working on the wheel either in our Level 2 class or at another studio. We’ll go deeper into wheel thrown forms, work on lidded vessels and participants will be encouraged to bring in shapes and forms of their own choosing to work on in class. The class will cover carved, embossed and applied decorations with slips, washes and glazes.

This class’ sessions begin on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 and runs for 6 consecutive weeks, with the final class on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026. Classes are from 7 pm to 9 pm with open studio hours on Sunday mornings from 9 am to 11 am beginning on June 28th, 2026. Open studio hours are great if you’ve missed or will be missing a class, want to work on class pieces or an independent project.

All clay, glazes, and tools used in the classes are provided by the studio. Throwing on the wheel can be a messy process and we recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!

If the class is sold out, please submit your email to the waitlist sign-up at the bottom of the page to make sure that you will be included in future updates for classes in 2026. We are excited to be expanding our offerings in 2026 which we can’t wait to share more about soon.
